All children have Wishes, but for these children and their families that Wish is so much more precious. Many children Wish to visit Disneyland in Florida or Paris, for others it is a chance to get up close to a favourite pop star or sporting hero. Some even Wish to be a princess or soldier for the day, whilst others would like toys or a computer to catch up on their schoolwork or keep in touch with friends. The highlight of our Charity's year is when we take over 400 children on a magical trip of a life time to meet Father Christmas in Lapland. No-one can fail to be moved as we watch the children despite their illness, just for one day put aside their pain and suffering in the excitement of meeting Father Christmas.

We are delighted to be working with Sarah at Place. However it is only with the help and generosity of people like you that we are able to continue granting the Wishes that we receive into our office every week from the most incredibly brave and courageous children. Your support would mean so very much to us, helping us to turn very special Wishes into a reality, creating a lifetime of treasured memories for the children and their families. 

Marie Curie Cancer Care provides high quality nursing, totally free, to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by their loved ones.

We are passionate about providing the best possible care and support for terminally ill patients and their families and about ensuring patients are able to choose the location they want for care at the end of their life. There are 12 Marie Curie Nurses in Buckinghamshire, caring for patients in their own homes. Last year we provided 6,953 hours of care to 175 terminally ill patients across the county. Our nurses are supported by the local fundraising team who organise events in local communities. We can also give advice about how to run your own fundraising event to raise money in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. We are delighted to be working with Sarah at Place to increase awareness of Marie Curie Cancer Care and the work that our Nurses do in this local area.
